The Luggie is a folding travel mobility scooter with the latest in lightweight technology. For transport it it simply folds to be placed in your storage locker and unfolds when you use it. It requires no dismantling or battery removal and has a total weight including the battery of just over 25kgs! All this has been achieved without the need to compromise strength or performance and the Luggie has won the Taiwan Gold Excellence award for 2011.

The main advantage of this product is the lightweight lithium polymer battery technology, which reduces overall weight and gives a range of around 12 miles with a full recharge in under an hour. The scooter has a built in charging port to connect to any domestic mains outlet. Other features include the patented folding design, telescopic tiller mechanism and the ability to 'trolley' the Luggie as if it were a travel case. Many clients are buying the Luggie to run alongside their existing everyday mobility scooter as it is easy to load in the smallest of cars, does not compromise payload or space in the motorhome or caravan and makes everyday travel easier both for the user and their partner.

The Luggie is made in Taiwan by the Freerider Corporation, a long established mobility scooter manufacturer, who control the whole process from their 90000 square foot facility. European distribution is overseen via a large warehouse in Holland and the UK distribution is via a new 8000 square foot distribution centre and is under the day to day control of the president of Freerider while the UK market is established.
